Primark mint green holidays wash bag

Mint green holidays wash bag
This wash bag is £4 from in primark it says holidays on the front. They also have a makeup bag to match that says essentials on it for £4 and a vanity case to match that says travel on it for £5, these are a great matching set or if you want to just buy one like I did. I did want to get the matching set but I have so many makeup bags and I probably wouldn't need to take all 3 anywhere together anyway so there wouldn't be much point for me.
Iv been wanting a hanging wash bag for a wile because I had one in my bathroom at my old flat a wile ago but left it there when I moved.

I'd either use it for my makeup to hang in the bathroom because that's where I usually do my makeup, or for my toiletries but at the minute it has some of my makeup in.

Makeup revolution blush palette sugar and spice

Makeup revolution blush palette sugar and spice

This blush palette was only £6 from superdrug.
There is 8 blushes, 6 are matte, 1 is a shimmer highlight shade and 1 is a merged baked shimmer blush.
This palette is suce a bargain it works out at 75p per blush.
Here's another pic of the blushes swatched on my arm.

There was another blush palette called hot spice that was more peaches and nude blushes and I thought id prefer that one but I just felt like the colours were all quite similar where as sugar and spice has a bit more variety as you get bronzy peaches, pinks and corals.
I think this palette would suit all skin tones because of the variety of shades, and will be great for summer.

Have you tried anything from makeup revolution? Whats your fave products? Leave me a comment down below :) x x x

Friday beauty haul 20/3/15

Friday beauty haul.

I'm doing a friday haul today instead of Friday favourites because I picked up these beauties today.

No7 shimmer palette rose £13.50, bourjois rouge edition AQUA Laque 02 rosé on the rocks £8.99, bourjois 123 perfect cc cream £9.99.

I've been wanting to get these for a few weeks but kept thinking no I don't need them, then today I decided I do especially since it's 3 for 2 on makeup in boots at the minute.

The only thing I tried so far out of these is the bourjois lip gloss, I don't usually like lipgloss but this isn't sticky at all it just feels really nice on the lips and has a nice shine but not too over the top like some glosses.

I also went to TK Maxx for a browse around and saw they had a Tender love + carry makeup bag and if you saw my whats in my makeup bag  post you will know I love there makeup bags and the one in Tk Maxx is the same style as the one I have but different pattern and was only £7.99 and the one I already have was £14 from john lewis so happy to get a bargain.

Real techniques brushes Nics picks

Real techniques brushes Nics picks set

I love real techniques brushes, I have some of the individual brushes and some of the sets already but out of the sets i have, this one is the best because I would actually use all the brushes instead of just 1 or 2 of them.

You can get these from superdrug, boots, very, feelunique.

What I use each brush for:

Duo fibre face brush:- powder and bronzer

Cheek brush:- blush and bronzer for contouring and highlight. (Could also be used for foundation but I use a different brush for that)

Angled eyeshadow brush:- eyeshadow in the crease

Base shadow brush:- base shadow and the inner corners and brow highlight.

Eyeliner brush:- filling in my eyebrows.

Do you have this brush set? Or are you planning on getting them, What do you think of them, let me know in the comments xxxx.

Add purple hues to your hair

Add purple hues to your hair.
Directions hair dye lilac and lavendar.
Left lilac, right lavendar
The instructions are on the side of the tub.

I mixed mainly lilac with a bit of lavendar and added conditioner and kept doing it till I got a shade I wanted. It doesn't take that well with conditioner in it though, afterwards I just added the dyes over it to make it work better, I just applies it to the front of my hair and the ends.
I left it on for 15 mins then rinsed out with just water.

My new bag and purse: pop of coral

My new bag and purse.

I went to New look at the weekend and saw this bag and fell in love with it straight away and it was only £24.99. The only downside is they didn't have a purse to match and the purse I was currently using was grey so I shopped around and I went in TK Maxx I saw this coral purse and it was the exact colour as my bag so I didn't hesitate, its by Jessica Simpson and it was only £9.99 I don't know what the original retail price was but that was TK Maxx price for it.

I love the leopard print detail next to the coral.

Curl your hair with magic leverage curl formers

Curl your hair with magic leverage curl formers.

I bought these from eBay a few years ago, they came in a box like this, they were really cheap, I also bought some more that didn't come in box but they cost a bit more and didn't have many in so I added them and this pack into a clear makeup bag to store them.

They come in different colours and different length and width although some were the same, I use different ones so the curls aren't so uniform and I tend to choose the long and wise ones so I get a looser curl.
you get a hook with it aswel which comes in 2 halves that you just click together.

to get the curl former on the hook you pinch the end to open it up then stick the hook through it like in the pictures below.
Make sure you hair is slightly damp before you use these, you can either use them at night then sleep in them then just take them out in the morning because by then your hair should have completely dried, or you can put them in and use a hair dryer to dry your hair once there in like I did today but I usually use them before I go to bed because its easier and you wake up with nice hair.
then you take a small section of damp hair, hook the hook onto it then slide the cur former or magic leverage up so you hair goes into it. like in the pictures below, then slide it down if there is hair peeking out the end so it covers the end of your hair.
it took me 6 minutes to put them all in my hair because I'm used to doing it now, it took longer when I  first used it but once you've done it a few times you get used to it pretty quickly.
once I had all the curl formers in I used a hair dryer on it for 10-15 mins, then I left it wile I did my makeup for around half an hour then took them out.
(in the pic below) this is what it looked like when I took them out.
then I shook my hair a bit and ran my fingers through it too loosen the curls a bit and make them look more natural.
