September BIRCHBOX

September birchbox.

-Urban fruit magnificent mango
£13.50 for 6 bags
A yummy 100% fruit snack to add to your lunch and keep you feeling virtuous.
I opened these straight away, they were nice but I'd never pay £13.20 for a 6 bags that works out £2.20 per bag. I probably wouldn't even want to pay £1 per bag, but it was nice to get to try them.

-Birch box happy days photo clip
I probably won't use this I don't really like photo clips I prefer photo frames.

-Model co lip lacquer "Morocco" the full size is £15
Create a long-wearing, highly pigmented pout with ModelCo LIP LACQUER Lip Gloss. The dense, high-colour gloss lends a luxe touch to your beauty look, and glides on smoothly for a non-sticky, long-lasting finish.
(Idon't know what size this is or the full size because they don't say it on the bottle but in the birchbox site it says 3ml so maybe the full size is mini)
It's a nice nude colour I thought it would be more of a coral but it is more nude although it's looking a bit coral in the pic. I don't really wear lipgloss I prefer lipstick so I probably wouldn't have baught it but love the colour and I will deffinately try it out wile it's in my birchbox.

-Agave healing oil treatment / from £16

A lightweight oil to smooth hair, build  resiliency and boosts shine and colour.
This smells really nice, it's a 4ml sample so I will probably try it out once then use it for travelling and if I like it maybe buy the full size wich is 60 ml but I think they also do other sizes.

-korres citrus shower gel / £8
This get up and go citrus body wash helps ensure skin stays hydrated all day long. This sample is 50ml the full size is 250ml. It smells quite nice but Il probably save it for traveling because I have loads of shower gels.

-Beauty blender + blender clenser solid / £26
An ingenious egg-shaped makeup sponge to ensure a flawless base - plus, a solid soap to clean it.
I'm exited to use this because they had it in a previous birch box and I missed our in that one so glad to see it back although some people that already recieved it may be disappointed but least they have a back up. I don't know if the previous one came with a solid blenderclenser but it's nice they included that. I will probably do a blog post about it if I like it, iv tried copy cat versions in the past and didn't like them but this feels squishier so maybe it will be better.

-Benefit it's potent! Eye cream / £25.50
Banish dark circles, smooth fine lines and protect against free radicals with this light peptide- packed formula.
This is a 3g sample and I think the full size is 14.2g.
Iv been wanting to try a good eye cream so hopefully it will be good and if it is il buy the full size.

I was most exited for the beauty blender and the benefit it's potent eye cream (and the urban fruit but just because I was hungry).

Wild about beauty powder eyeshadow (05 fern) I think this is full size rrp £13
A long-lasting, satin textured shadow from Louise Redknapp and Kim Jacob's paraben-free range.
Apply with fingertips or a brush and blend.
It's a gorgeous goldy bronze shade wich is right up my street love shades like this it reminds me of a more gold toned version of mac woodwinked, and love the little bee print on it.
Nude progenius omega treatment oil (5ml sample) the full size is 30ml and costs £58.
This nourishing oil is rich in omegas 3,67 and 9 for hydrated, smooth skin.
Apply 2 to 3 drops after cleansing, AM and PM. Use alone or before moisturiser. I was happy to recieve this because I was looking at this in spaceNK so now I get to try it out.
Dead Sea spa magik refreshing bath shower gel (25 ml sample) the full size is 350 ml £7.15 or £7.20 in debenhams.
A luxurious, moisturising multi-purpose  body wash/bath gel with a refreshing scent.
Add under running water in the bath or use as a body wash in the shower.
Iv had bath salts from this range before iv never tried the bath gel though I'm not really exited for it but il give it a try.
Vasanti brightenup! Enzymatic face rejuvenator (20g sample) the full size is 120g £26.
A multi-action exfoliator to ensure a renewed, refreshed complexion.
Wet skin and massage a pea-sized amount of product over face. Use 3-5 times a week.
I don't usually use face scrubs but since I have the sample I will try It out
Number 4 super comb prep & protect (sample size 30 ml) the full size is 200ml £20.
A leave-in conditioning spray to detangle and protect against heat and sun damage.
Spritz over damp hair and comb through before drying and styling.
I'm happy to recieve this as iv lost my heat protectant (I think I accidentally binned it when I moved) so I can use this until I but a new one and the fact that it also detangles is a bonus since my hair gets knotty so easy.

The book:
The proposal by tasmina perry (chapter sample) the complete book is £7.99 paperback
Chapter 1 of this spellbinding and romantic novel, which spans 1950s London and present day NYC.
I don't really read books but I do like reading books when it's a book I enjoy, I will read this wile it's only a chapter and if it's good il probably buy the e-book.

Products I was happy to recieve:
- wild about beauty eyeshadow.
- NUDE progenius omega treatment oil
- number 4 super comb & protect
Also the clear makeup bag with the ice lolly print.

I worked out how much each product is worth by how much product is in each sample and the whole box is worth over £30.

P.s. Love... Matte long last lipstick

P.s. Love... Matte long last lipstick
I spotted this lipstick in primark I don't usually look at the makeup in primark but I a aw this lovely nude shade then saw that it's a matte and it's only £1.50 so I had to get it because I love these types of nudes and mattes

I'm wearing the lipstick in this picture.

Pros: smells really nice, lovely colour, long lasting, great price, nice packaging.
Cons: it's quite hard to apply at first (but mac ruby woo lipstick is a bit like that for me so I don't really mind), makes my lips feel a little dry

The cons don't really bother me I could just use a lip balm before applying and it should solve both problems. I could deffinately see my self wearing this a lot so I think I will buy a back up incase they stop selling it, I think everyone should try this especially if you like matte lipsticks because you can't go wrong with the price.

I heart chocolate palette

I heart chocolate palette

This palette is a good dupe for the too faced chocolate palette I don't have that palette but iv seen it and swatched it although the too faced palette smells of chocolate where as this one only has a really faint smell of chocolate this palette is only £8 from makeup revolutions where as the toofaced palette is £45 from debenhams
Above is a pic of the toofaced chocolate palette.

I was thinking about getting the too faced palette for a wile before spotting the I heart chocolate palette so I'm glad I spotted this cheaper alternative.

I used the 'endorphins ready!' In the inner corners, 'more!' In the crease and to darken up the crease and on my bottom lash line 'love Devine' from this palette.
It came with a sponge tip applicator, I hate these so I'm going to throw it in the bin and replace it with the zoeva 227/luxe soft definer brush because it fits In the palette perfectly so will be great for travelling if I don't want to carry seperate brushes

August favourites

August favourites
This month iv had quite a few faves some that iv loved for a wile and some that are recent loves.

Hourglass ambient lighting powder
I have diffused light and also the palette I use this one the most as I wouldn't use the palette for everyday use that's why I chose this one for my favourites but the palette is handy for traveling and for if your not sure wich powder to chose as it has 3 of the powders and 1 of them being a limited edition shade
This is the powder swatched and then if I blend it out it disappears into the skin. I only use this for under my eyes, top of cheeks, down the centre of my nose and a little in my forehead because for me it kind of brightens those areas so if I put it on the rest of my face it kind if washes me out and makes them areas look lighter so If I wanted to use 1 if the powders there I would use my palette and use dim light or radiant light as they're darker than diffused.

Charlotte tilbury filmstar bronze and glow
This is probably my favourite makeup product because the bronzer suits every one and the highlighter is gorgeous my favourite part of the palette, I also love the packaging.

Topshop bronzerI have 2 swatched. Left mohawk and right sandcastle
I use mohawk the most because it's darker so use it to contour and I sometimes use sandcastle to bronze upy fave if I'm not using the filmstar bronze and glow bronzer.

Illamasqua lover & Nars torrid
I use lover in the day and torrid if I'm going out because you can't see in the picture but torrid had shimmer in it but it doesn't really show up that much on the skin, but illamasqua lover is completely matt so great for every day. I haven't had torrid the whole of august think iv only had it for just over a week but I do love it so I had to include it.

Inlight organic daily face oil & loreal skin perfection correcting day cream
Iv had the inlight organic face oil for a wile but I only recently starting using it again.
I went prestatyn in May and I used it then and a few weeks before I went i used it along with a different moisturiser and my skin was looking it's best then when I came home I couldn't find it so stopped using it then kind of forgot about it but my complexion started looking dull so I started using it again now and iv been loving it.  Loreal skin perfection correcting day cream I love the packaging and it feels nice when I use it I also have the serum to match but I don't really feel like it does much for me so I didn't include that in my favourites but I do still use it.

Loreal miss manga mega volume dark angel mascara
When I first got this I wasn't sure I liked it because it seemed quite liquidy but I used it anyway because my other loreal mascara had run out, but now iv started loving it because it's not as liquidy anymore so it works perfect and it's quite similar to my beloved lancome hypnose star mascara that I loved
The only difference in the brush is the loreal one is a little more round than the lancome but it's a great cheaper alternative to the lancome one.

Mac studio sculpt foundation
This was an easy favourite I love how it looks dewy but doesn't feel wet like some other dewy foundations so I don't need to set it with a powder although I still do, it has SPF so not great for flash photography but good for the skin if your out in the sun. A little goes a long way, it's medium coverage but buildable so it could deffinately be full coverage but I tend to just use around this amount and it would do my whole fave because it blends really well with the brush I use.

No7 precision lip pencil nude & mac kinda sexy lipstick

Iv been loving using these together the no7 lip pencil is amazing and isn't too obvious and lasts ages on the lips aswel.
Mac kinda sexy is my new faveac lipstick it's like a warm nude for if you don't like nudes that are too pale (the pic isn't doing it justice) and it is a matte finish wich I love.

Zoeva 102/silk finish brush & real techniques blush brush
I love the zoeva 102 for foundation it's replaced my real techniques buffing brush. Real techniques blush brush I use it for powder, blush and bronzer I should probably buy another so I'm not having to use the same one for everything but it worked and love it so much, I wish there was a slightly smaller one so it would be better for contouring, I have the contour brush but it's too dense so ends up rubbing the product off, I like how this one is fluffy, iv ordered the real techniques setting brush it looks the same as the blush brush but smaller , I think it will be too small for contouring for me but I thought if give it a try anyway so cz I love the blush brush so much and if not I will use it for setting powder under my eyes.

Victor & Rolf flower bomb
I love this perfume I used to smell it every time I'd go into debenhams. Great long lasting perfume and smells amazing.

Garnier ultimate blends the silky smoother
These smell amazing it's like hair perfume  and make my hair feel soft aswel I'm on my second bottle of conditioner now aswel because I use up conditioner quicker than shampoo, even if you don't buy these you should at least smell them and they do other scents aswel and for different hair types but this set is my fave. I also like the one for damaged hair aswel  makes my hair softer but doesn't smell as nice.

Soap & glory butter yourself moisture lotion
I love these because it's as moisturising as a body butter but sinks in as quick as a lotion so the best of both worlds. The scent is nice aswel although next time I think I'm gna buy the righteous butter version of this.

Sanctuary spa therapies relax nourishing bath soakI love pouring this generously into my bath as I'm running the water, it makes lots of bubbles and makes my bath smell amazing.
